Steppenwolf Theatre Company opens Dance of Death on Thursday, January 29! The production is directed by theatre department head Yasen Peyankov, fresh off his performance in Steppenwolf’s Amadeus and ahead of directing Macbeth at UIC Theatre. The show is part of Steppenwolf’s celebratory 50th Anniversary season.

UIC talent is well represented throughout the creative team. Faculty members Collette Pollard (scenic design), Jason Martin (vocal coach), and Claire Kaplan (movement) are all involved, along with alum Sonya Madrigal, who serves as assistant director.
