Calling all aspiring mariachi musicians and teachers!

We are excited to announce that we are hosting the inaugural UIC Mariachi Festival on Friday, April 11th, celebrating the passion and power of Mariachi music!

Elevate your skills: Hone your technique in specialized workshops for students at the high school level and workshops for teachers who are interested in starting programs.

Ignite your passion: Witness a stunning concert featuring UIC’s esteemed Mariachi Fuego and a captivating special guest group from the Universidad Veracruzana – Mariachi Universitario!

Network and grow: Connect with fellow enthusiasts, learn from leading professionals, and become part of a vibrant community.

This event will be held on April 11th and is part of the larger UIC Latin American Music Festival April 11th – 13th. You can attend as a group as well as individuals!
