We are hosting the 13^th Annual UIC Honors Band Festival on October 24-26, 2025 at the UIC School of Theatre & Music and UIC Student Center East.

The UIC Honors Band Festival brings together top high school students from the greater-Chicago region for an engaging weekend of musical collaboration culminating in a concert performance. During the festival, students will work with a distinguished guest conductor, attend a performance from UIC Ensembles, participate in a masterclass with UIC performance faculty, and perform in a shared final concert with the UIC Wind Ensemble. Students must be nominated by their high school band director or private lesson instructor to be eligible to participate.

The festival culminates in a performance from the Honors Band on Sunday, October 26 at UIC Student Center East – Illinois Room A. RSVP is required to attend. Click the date below to register your attendance.
