Pop Rock Auditions

When? Tuesday, January 13, 6:30 PM

Where? L285 Recital Hall — ETMSW Building, Basement level (1040 W Harrison St.)

What? This ensemble focuses on performing pop music of the last 30 years, featuring songs from artists like Backstreet Boys, Paramore, and Chappell Roan. Students will learn faithful transcriptions and collaborate to create original arrangements, developing a unique sound each semester. If you love distorted guitars and big vocal harmonies, this band is for you!

Instruments Needed*:
– 2-5 singers
– 2-3 guitarists
– 1-2 keyboardists
– 1 bass guitar
– 1 drummer

*If your instrument is not listed and you’re interested in joining, please let me know!

Provided at audition/rehearsals: Guitar amps, a bass amp, a keyboard amp, piano, drum set, an electric keyboard, and mics. 

Please bring your personal instrument and any other equipment you may want to use (guitar, pedals, your own keyboard, etc.) 

We will play the two audition pieces several times, rotating players throughout for the audition.
