Join us at UIC on October 13th as the Minisiax Ensemble pays tribute to some of the greatest contributors to Jazz Music and American culture. You will hear selections from saxophonists Hank Mobely and Wayne Shorter, trumpeters Kenny Dorham, Roy Hargrove, and Wynton Marsalis and one selection from the Classic American Songbook. Each listener will have the opportunity to groove to music rooted in the style of Hardbop, Afro-Cuban, swing, and be transported to the musical styles of the 1960’s to the present.

CTA Blue Line to UIC-Halsted. There are 3 exits from this platform. Take the far west exit with the long ramp (towards Morgan Street). There are also CTA buses (#7 and #60) that stop directly in front of our building.
