If Music Be the Food… Chicago
The UIC chamber music and jazz programs present the inaugural If Music Be the Food… (IMBTF)Chicago concert. IMBTF is a series of benefit concerts raising awareness and support for those experiencing food insecurity in the local community through the sharing of great music. IMBTF is a completely volunteer endeavor—all of the musicians donate their services, the venues donate their space, and students and local volunteers assist with publicity and stage management. There is no fixed price for admission; rather, the audience is invited to bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations of any amount for the partnering food bank—UIC’s Pop-Up Pantry.

Registration is required to attend this performance, simply click the “Get Tickets” button below.
