Basic techniques; body position; beat patterns; use of baton; division of beats; starting and stopping; the left hand; dynamics; fermatas; ensemble application; score preparation; memorization. Course Information: Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MUS 202 and grade of C or better in MUS 204 or approval of the department. Music majors may have only one grade of D in 300-level coursework.
