Claire Kaplan is an actor, movement director, and performance creator from Long Beach, CA. Her focus is in ensemble-created original work, community-building, performance activism, and the exploration of text and the body. She has worked with ensembles in California, Texas, Berlin, London, and now Chicago. She is the recipient of a 2025 Dean’s Grant to study movement with the Movement Research Lab in NYC.
