Symphonic Band Camp
July 20-26, 2025

For High School Students
(Grade 9–Graduating Seniors)

ABOUT
Join fellow high school musicians from around Chicago in an intensive six-day experience to develop instrumental technique, expand repertoire, improve ensemble skills, and get to know other young musicians. Rehearsals and masterclasses are led by UIC instrumental faculty and ensemble directors. The camp will conclude with a final performance with the UIC Summer Winds. Join us on UIC’s campus for a week of inspiring music making!

All high school students who will be entering 9th grade through graduating 12th grade in 2025 are eligible for this camp. To register, please use the link below to complete the registration form. If enrolling multiple students, you will need to submit this form for each student.

Preferred registration deadline is July 1, but we will accept registration up until the first day of camp as space allows. 

All participants will receive a t-shirt, but those who register after July 1 may or may not receive their first choice in size preferences due to vendor deadlines.

Registration fee: $150   

Payment via cash, check, or credit card is expected no later than the first day of camp. A limited number of scholarships are available – contact uicbands@uic.edu for more information.
