Ivana Bukvich

Ivana Bukvich received a bachelor's degree in piano performance from Belgrade University of the Arts in Serbia, and a master's degree, also in piano performance, from Indiana University, where she studied with Professor A. Toradze.

Her performance highlights include the Edinburgh Music Festival (Scotland), White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg (Russia), the Rotterdam Phillips Gergiev Music Festival (Netherlands), Mikkeli Music Festival (Finland, and Milan, Italy), Chicago's Ravinia Rising Stars Concert Series, and the Dame Myra Hess Series in Chicago. She has also made numerous television and radio appearances in the former Yugoslavia, and, more recently, in Chicago on WFMT.

Ivana is a full-time lecturer in the School of Theatre and Music at UIC, where she also teaches piano, and is a collaborative pianist and assistant conductor for the UIC choirs. She currently teaches privately at the Fine Arts Building, and is an active accompanist and chamber musician in the Chicago area.
