Collette has designed several operas DON GIOVANNI (Castleton Theatre Festival), THE GRAPES OF WRATH (Northwestern University Bienen School of Music. Evanston, IL), FALSTAFF (University of Illinois School of Music, Champaign Urbana, IL), and SOUR ANGELICA and GIANNI SCHICCHI (DePaul University School of Music, Chicago, IL). International credits include JOAN D’ARC (Co-production Goodman Theatre, Chicago, IL, and Linz09, Linz, Austria) and MARIA STEWART (Linz09, Linz, Austria).
Collette was the Scenic Design Jeff Award recipient for IN THE GARDEN at Lookingglass Theatre where she recently designed THADDEUS & SLOCUM. Recently she became an Artistic Associate at Timeline Theatre in Chicago where she designed DANNY CASALARO, THE HOW & THE WHY, BLOOD & GIFTS and THE FRONT PAGE which she received a Joseph Jefferson Award for Scenic Design. Collette is a Company Member at The House Theatre Company of Chicago where she has designed 20 plus productions, including THE HAMMER TRINITY, DORIAN, ROSE & THE RIME, DEATH & HARRY HOUDINI, THE NUTCRACKER, THE SPARROW and THE MAGNIFICENTS. Collette was the recipient of the Michael Merritt Maggio Emerging Designer Award in 2010 and received her MFA from Northwestern University.
