Many UIC Theatre and Music alumni know Carl Ulaszek as the technical director, lighting designer, and instructor who produced extraordinary designs for UIC theatre from 1988 to 2015. 

Now, Carl is back! Through Carl on Campus, he’s reconnecting with the UIC theatre and music community—sharing behind-the-scenes stories, reviewing productions, co-hosting alumni performance nights, and interviewing the talented students and faculty shaping UIC Theatre and Music today. You might even see yourself featured in a future episode! Follow Carl’s posts throughout the year for an inside look at what’s happening on campus.
